First thing you can try is exporting as MOV from flash. It gives you near perfect SWF quality (you must remove any stop();, commands in the timeline, like a preloader)
if for whatever reason that doesn't work out for you. Most converters wont often give perfect results, you also gotta deal with that stupid logo unless you pay for the full thing.

in flash conversion, movie clips lose the moviments and effects :C
in old times i used amor swf, but now i dont have a keygen

I've heard SWF2Video by Flashants is the best for conversion.
Hope it helps.

i tested it, but i dont have a keygen :C

There are hundreds of Flash to Video Converter out there. Finding a decent one is hard. As suggested above SWF2Video by Flashants is one of the few good ones.

I've tried iWisoft's Flash SWF to Video Converter and it was actually good. It's not a freeware though and every converted video has a logo (watermark) on the top left.

Anyway, good luck finding a decent converter. Like your stuff.

i made a converter

or you can ask me to covert it for you

weird

I use Sothink Swftovideo converter but it has an issue with syncing.

hmm

send me swf let me try it.

hmm

I have a way but the quallity isn't the best but it is easy first download the program camstudio and camstudio lossless codec v1.4 for better quality. Then change the compresser to this ------------------------_l then hit recored and it will tell u how much u wanna recored good for recoreding walkthoughs too.

Download a trial from any Adobe's Flash, and the the QuickTime thing. Export as .mov and then convert this to .avi or something. Great Quality, no frameskip, it does the movieclips even ActionScript.

Actually exporting it as a MOV doesn't loose the animation inside movieclips. Only AVI and Mpegs loose movieclip animation :) GLHF

I know a shit load of converter programs!

This might help:

No?

no?

If you use the Xvid codec when you export .avi from flash it works perfect.

MOV does not do that. Thins scripted like a v-cam and movie clips will play.
MOV export works differently from the rest. What it does is that it RECORDS the animation perfectly, (hence why a stop(); command would mess it up since you'd actually need to manually advance it in that situation).
Try MOV export if you can.

hmm

I use screen capture software. I'm on a mac, so I use IshowU, it's pretty good, but you need a fast machine for it to keep up with the framerate...

:c my computer is crap

Your animations are hilarious.

Look up an obscure program on the internet, works for me.

Animate at 25fps then when you publish as a mov there shouldn't be any issue with "artifacts" remaining behind if that's the issue.

I ran into similar problems when I animated the "Official Tank Half Full" music video.
I hope this helps :)

When you find one, inform me too. My comp is too shit for those capture programs as well

Why can I export animations in near perfect quality from within flash?
Do I have this crazy version that no one else has?

Here's an example from an AVI that I exported using Flash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0_YYl 6MOVA
-------------------------------------
-------------------------

make the audio a smaller file size.
